What is an NFC business card?

A physical card, sticker or band with a small chip inside. Someone taps their phone on it and your digital profile opens — name, phone, email and links — ready to save in one tap. You buy the card once and update the profile for life.

Do people need an app to open my card?

No. It opens in the phone's browser like any web page — nothing to install, for you or for the person you meet.

Which phones work with NFC business cards?

Modern iPhones (XR and newer) read a tap automatically. Most Android phones from the last few years too — NFC may need to be enabled once in settings. Every card also carries a QR code as a fallback for older phones.

What happens when my details change?

You edit your profile once, and every card already in someone's pocket shows the new details. A paper card would need reprinting; a TapAdd card never does.

Is it secure? What data is shared?

The card only opens a public profile — exactly what you would put on paper. It reads nothing from the visitor's phone. If a card is lost, you can deactivate it from your dashboard in one click.

NFC card, QR code or paper — which is best?

They all open the same profile. NFC is fastest in person (a tap, no aiming a camera); QR is handy on printed materials and screens; paper is a fine backup. Most people use the NFC card with the QR as a fallback.

How do I set up my card?

Create your profile, order a card linked to it, then tap it once to check it opens correctly. From then on, you tap to share and edit the profile whenever you like.
